Your Private Retreat
Your cozy apartment has its own entrance and private deck, with everything you need to make your San Diego vacation memorable. The kitchenette has what you need to prepare meals, the queen bed is very comfortable, and the bedroom has a hardwood floor.
Parking is spacious, easy, and free—usually right in front. Guests can also use the tennis and pickleball courts across the street at no charge.
A Wonderful Point Loma Location
We’re less than 10 minutes from the airport, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, and downtown San Diego, and an easy walk to restaurants, shops, yoga, and the bay. Many guests tell us they love how much they can do without getting into a car.
Walk to Point Loma Seafood for fresh fish, enjoy breakfast at Jennings House Cafe, or stop by HarborTown for a beer. SeaWorld is about 15 minutes away, and you can see the Balboa Park hills, home to the San Diego Zoo, from the deck.

Meet Your Hosts
Your hosts, Kelle and Dave, live just above the apartment. We’re happy to answer questions and suggest things to see and do, but we’re quiet and respect your privacy. You may occasionally get a visit from our friendly cat.
If you’d rather skip a rental car, enjoy the neighborhood on foot. There’s a lovely waterfront path we often walk in the evening.
Good to Know Before You Book
The retreat is most comfortable for two guests, with a third guest possible by arrangement. Maximum occupancy is three guests.
Our home sits on a hillside, with approximately 20 steps to the apartment level. Our outdoor elevator (“hillevator”) can reduce the number of steps by about half; some steps remain.
